Getting Started, 12 Languages & Themes

Dosezy is designed to be friendly, high-contrast, and easy to read. It operates completely offline without requiring any user registration or internet connection.

Supported Languages:

English, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Italian, and Bengali.

How to Change Language or Theme:

  1. Tap the Menu tab at the bottom right.
  2. Tap Preferences.
  3. Choose your preferred Language, toggle between Light and Dark mode, or switch to 24-Hour time format.

Home Screen, Time Headers & Dose Badges

Your Home screen lists your daily doses grouped by time. Helpful real-time indicators and colored dots show your compliance at a glance:

Adding Medicines: Photos, Food Instructions & Presets

  1. Tap Medicines in the bottom bar, then tap "+ Add Medicine".
  2. Enter the medicine name and dose unit (tablet, capsule, mg, mL, drops, puffs, units).
  3. (Optional) Tap the camera icon to take or crop a pill box photo.
  4. Select meal instructions (🍽️ Before Food, 🍲 With Food, 🥗 After Food, or ⏱️ No Instructions).
  5. Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly frequency.
  6. Tap 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x Daily chips to schedule standard multi-dose times instantly.
  7. Adjust individual times using the intuitive 12-First Grid Time Picker (12 is at the top).

Grouped Alarms & One-Tap "Take All"

When taking multiple tablets at the exact same minute (e.g. 8:00 AM), Dosezy rings with one grouped alarm. You can check off items individually or tap the large green "TAKE ALL" button in a single tap to record all doses and decrement inventory simultaneously.

Pill Inventory & Automatic Refill Warnings

Keep track of your medicine stock so you never run out of critical prescriptions:

  1. When adding or editing a medicine, enter your Current Stock (e.g. 60 pills) and Refill Threshold (e.g. 10 pills).
  2. Dosezy automatically subtracts pills whenever you mark a dose as Taken.
  3. An orange ⚠️ Refill Warning badge appears on your Home screen and Medicines list when stock drops low.

Interactive Schedule Calendar

Tap the Schedule tab in the bottom bar to view your full medication calendar. Tap any date to inspect past adherence or upcoming doses. Colored dot markers on calendar days show at a glance whether medicines were taken on time, late, or missed.

Adherence Analytics & Compliance Scores

Open Menu > Analytics to view your compliance score ring across WEEK, MONTH, YEAR, and ALL TIME. Review counts of on-time vs late vs missed doses and see compliance rates for each specific medicine.

Adjusting Late & Missed Alert Windows

Customize how long Dosezy waits before marking a dose as late:

  • Open Menu > Preferences.
  • Consider Late After: Select 1h, 2h, or 3h.
  • Consider Missed After: Select from 3h up to 9h.
  • Default Snooze Duration: Choose 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes.

International Emergency & Personal Contacts

Go to Menu > Emergency Contacts:

  • Official Emergency Services: Dosezy automatically detects your country (India, US/Canada, UK, EU, China, Japan, Russia, Brazil, Bangladesh, Australia) to dial police, fire, or ambulance in 1 tap.
  • Personal Emergency Contacts: Tap "+ Add Emergency Contact" to save personal phone numbers for your family doctor, partner, or caregiver.

Managing Multiple Family Profiles

Tap Menu > Switch Profile to create independent profiles for family members. Each profile keeps its own schedule, medicine list, stock counts, and compliance logs completely separate.

Doctor PDF Reports & Local Backups

Before your next doctor visit, go to Menu > Export Data and choose PDF Report to generate a clean, printable medical report with current medicines, dosages, food instructions, and compliance records. You can also export JSON or CSV digital archives.

Checking for App Updates

Tap Menu > Check for Updates. Dosezy automatically detects where you downloaded the app from (Google Play, F-Droid, Huawei AppGallery, Samsung Galaxy Store, Xiaomi GetApps, Amazon Appstore, or GitHub) and opens your store client or browser safely.

Notification Status & Battery Optimization

If alarms are not ringing on your phone:

  1. Open Menu > Notification Status to view your live permission diagnostic checklist.
  2. Ensure Exact Alarms and Notifications are enabled.
  3. Allow Dosezy to ignore battery optimization so alarms ring even when your device screen is locked.
