Frequently Asked Questions

Find simple, friendly answers about Dosezy features, pill reminders, stock tracking, adherence analytics, offline privacy, and family profile management.

What is Dosezy?
Dosezy is a simple, friendly, and smart medication reminder app. It helps you, your family members, and caregivers manage daily medicines, set alarms, track pill inventory, monitor adherence progress, and ensure no dose is ever missed.
Do I need to create an account or have internet?
No! Dosezy is 100% local-first and offline. You do not need to register, log in, or have an internet connection. All your health data and reminders stay safely stored directly on your phone in an offline database.
What happens if I take multiple medicines at the same time?

Dosezy automatically combines all medicines scheduled for the exact same minute (e.g. 8:00 AM) into a single grouped alarm screen.

You get an interactive checklist of your medicines with medicine photos, meal instructions, and a prominent green "Take All" button along with an orange "Snooze (10 min)" button, preventing overlapping alarms.

How does pill stock and refill tracking work?

When adding or editing a medicine, you can enter your current tablet count (e.g. 60) and your low-stock alert threshold (e.g. 10).

Every time you mark a dose as "Taken", Dosezy automatically subtracts the dose amount from your stock and displays an orange ⚠️ Refill Warning badge whenever it is time to reorder.

Does Dosezy support my native language?

Yes! Dosezy features complete native translations in 12 major languages:

English, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Italian, and Bengali.

The app automatically detects your phone's system language, and you can change it anytime in Menu > Preferences.

How do dose status colors work on the Home screen?

Green: Dose confirmed as Taken (shows completion time).

Normal Text: Dose is upcoming or due recently (within your customizable Late Window).

Orange: Dose is Late (3 to 6 hours past due by default). An orange "Mark Late" action appears.

Red: Dose is Missed (more than 6 hours past due by default).

Where can I see my adherence percentage and dose history?

Go to Menu > Analytics to view your total adherence percentage ring score across Week, Month, Year, and All Time.

You can also tap the Schedule tab to see colored adherence dot markers for every day on the calendar.

How do I call emergency services or personal contacts in an emergency?

Go to Menu > Emergency Contacts:

  • Official Public Helplines: Dosezy automatically detects your region (India, USA/Canada, UK, EU, China, Japan, Russia, Brazil, Bangladesh, Australia) with 1-tap dialing for ambulance, police, fire, or universal emergency lines.
  • Personal Emergency Contacts: You can save custom numbers for your family doctor, partner, or caregiver with the "+ Add Emergency Contact" button.
How do I export my data for doctor visits?
Go to Menu > Export Data and choose PDF Report to generate a clean, printable medical report with current prescriptions, timings, food instructions, and adherence logs formatted for your doctor. You can also export full JSON or CSV backup archives.
Is multi-device sync or caregiver web sharing available?

In the current version, Dosezy is built to be 100% offline and private by default.

An optional, self-hostable sync server and a dedicated Caregiver Web Portal are planned for the upcoming v3.0–v3.9 product roadmap. Offline use will always remain fully supported and free.
